Stable Doorways began because of the need to help horses who through no fault of their own have found themselves in the wrong place in time.
They therefore either have bad health, behavioral problems, are depressed or genuinely need someone new to love them.
Some horses, who are genuinely outgrown by loving owners, fall on bad times through bad luck or management.
It is unfortunate, but horses being such an expensive pastime, few people can afford to own more than one and therefore at some point have to part with a much loved friend.
Most people do their best to find the most suitable and kind home they can, but sometimes however hard we try, this can go wrong.
We are dedicated at STABLE DOORWAYS to putting these horses back on the right pathway to a better and suited future.
Our therapies offer a wide range of help for these animals and other therapies are called in if we feel the animal would benefit, but often all that is needed is good food, loving care and time, to find that right home.
